Job Description : Accountant II-Large Managed Healthcare Company6-month contract with potential for extension and/or permanent hireM-F PST HoursJob Description Summary: The Corporate Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day and month-end accounting processes for the state plan to which he/she is assigned, including journal entries and account reconciliations.100% RemoteCandidates can be located anywhere within the US, but prefers candidates located within PSTOT requirement: During first week of the month (around 1 hr each day)Manager needs someone that has strong experiences on JDE Bank reconciliation. This Ad Hoc task will require a candidate to have knowledge about the bank reconciliation, and be able to identify and resolve the problem for the EFT/ACH/check between the bank & GLEssential Functions: Preparation and entry of journal entries.Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper coding of cash receipts/transfers.Account reconciliation to identify errors in posting or coding.Account analysis including proposing required journal entries as needed.Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or BusinessRequired Experience: 2-4 years of experience in related field. Proficient in MS Excel and Word. Knowledge of networked computerized multi-company accounting systems.
