A day in the life of an Accounting Associate:
Responsible for various accounting and close-related support
Ensure accounting files are completed and maintained accurately and consistently
Ensure accurate receiving of inventory by matching invoices with purchase orders
Reconcile shipping invoices and request credit when necessary
Collect and reconcile employee expense reports
Compile, sort, and scan invoices and checks
Assist with processing weekly and bi-weekly check runs
Submit regular bank deposits
Work with adding machines, calculators, databases and bank accounts
Collect and distribute mail as requested
Maintain vendor contact files
Process regular insurance refund
Work with adding machines, calculators, databases and bank accounts
Assist with researching, tracking, and resolving accounting problems
Protects organization?s value by keeping information confidential
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Perform other various projects as assigned by the Director of Accounting

Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety and compliance and report any concerns of non-compliance in any area to your manager immediately
