Context/Scope:
The STP Service Delivery department is responsible to ensure that Source To Pay processes (including Purchase to Pay and Tactical Procurement) are working effectively & efficiently, are well controlled and drive value for Diageo, also ensuring control agenda (SOX compliance) across all areas as well.
The STP Market Advisor is acting as the first point of contact for the markets in regards to any STP issues, he/she works closely with Requestors, Vendors and other STP Service Delivery Teams to ensure a flawless PO process.
The role requires solid system and E2E STP process understanding and will closely support Purchase Order Lifecycle Management, works in close business partnering with the STP Governance and other STP Teams and liaises with other internal & external stakeholders. The role holder may be tasked to raise POs and complete related tasks.

Diageo Business Service is a multi-functional shared service centre that is managing DIAGEO-wide transactions across various regions. Processes in scope are: Consumer to Cash, Source to Pay, Financial Control, Planning & Reporting, Treasury. BS is a multicultural, multi-language environment.

GDBS STP is interacting with some 20.000 vendors treating some 550.000 invoices per year. It addresses an external spend of £4 billion across the supply, marketing and indirect categories with Diageo operating in over 180 markets worldwide and with offices in around 80 countries
Market Complexity
The Global STP Service Delivery team is a global organisation with multiple locations including Budapest, Nairobi, Manila, Bogota and Bangalore .
The department supports Diageo markets in all regions including Europe, NAM, LAC, Africa and APAC.
Relationships:
Cross Business: Global, Regional and In-market PTP/Procurement/Finance teams and stakeholders
Internal: GDBS STP Service Delivery, RTR, STC Teams in all DBS locations
External: 3rd party vendors delivering technical support to Diageo

Responsibilities
Proactive Market Management, act as First point of Contact with STP issues
Resolve STP issues by proactively coordinating resolution between internal teams
Purchasing implementation – work closely with Procurement (commercial agreements are reflected in system accurately)
PO quality check (make sure we are buying from right Supplier with right price), provide support that facilitates the accurate, efficient and timely set up and approval of purchase orders
Supplier Reputation Management (SRM) – Ensure common understanding between Supplier and Diageo regarding STP processes, requirements
Raise Purchase orders in SAP for direct scope and monitor PO Lifecycle ensuring parked and blocked items against these POs are kept to minimum
Report analysis, suggesting improvement areas
Participate in projects
Effective and compliant management of STP processes within the agreed SLA’s and KPI’s
The job holder may be instructed by his/her immediate superior to perform all tasks directly or indirectly related, additional or supplementary to the scope of duties defined in this role profile
Purpose of Role
The STP Market Advisor will be acting as the first point of contact for the market for any STP issues and will be responsible for building, deploying, improving and sustaining fit for purpose Source to Pay compliance process and related services that deliver business value enabling Diageo to be the best every day everywhere.
Top 3-5 Accountabilities
Efficiently and effectively manage the end-to-end Source to Pay process:
Ensure common understanding between Supplier and Diageo regarding STP processes, requirements (SRM)
Acting as the first point of contact to the market with STP issues, resolve them or channel them to the appropriate teams
Contribute ideas, energy, enthusiasm and support to the continuous improvement of the Source to Pay process
Provide input to monthly Service Review call and ensure main KPIs consistently meet the target.
Raise Purchase Orders for direct purchases in SAP and ensure parked and blocked items against these POs are kept to minimum
Manage brilliant business partnering:
Act as process expert, assist with supplier and requestor compliance issues and ensure front-end users follow the right processes.
Highlight any potential process and knowledge gap, ensure proper resolution.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Working knowledge of all STP
Graduate in Finance or Commercial related field with base accounting knowledge or equivalent experience
Can do attitude in driving for solutions taking business requirements in consideration
Proven experience of building, developing and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders
Internal controls awareness
Good communicative and influencing capabilities dealing with stakeholders
Fluent English knowledge is a must, any other European language knowledge is advantage.
