Job Description : Part-time- 20 hours per week at our Allentown Location*COVID vaccine is required*A position in this class ensures that necessary supplies and equipment are available to the residents. Washes, cleans, and disinfects equipment and supplies for reuse; wraps and sterilizes supplies; inspects, assembles, and packages materials for sterilization; stores and distributes supplies to designated areas of the facility to be used in resident care; receives and stores supplies ordered from outside the facility; dispenses items according to unit requests; monitors and records parameters of steam sterilization in Central Supply on a daily and weekly basis.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Basic knowledge of goals, objectives, methods, techniques, and equipment used in the area of specialization.Ability to maintain records as indicated.Ability to learn specific practices, procedures, and operations of related specialty.Basic knowledge of sterilization and cleaning techniques.Basic knowledge of inventory maintenance.Ability to lift, support, and maneuver supplies and equipment.Acceptable Training and Experience: Minimum one-year Central Supply experience or any equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience.Requirements: Criminal background check required.Nursing Home/ LTC Experience preferred but not required.If after review of your submitted resume Cedarbrook is interested in you as a candidate for this position, you will be contacted by the Appointing Authority.Job Type: Part-timePay: $18.42 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftApplication Question(s):Have you ever been employed by County of Lehigh and/or Cedarbrook.Experience:Central Supply: 1 year (Preferred)working in medical supply: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
