We are a custom contract manufacturer.The Controller is a member of the leadership team, responsible for oversight of all accounting and reporting activities. The role will maximize return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems. The Controller is responsible for planning and coordinating budget and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies and practices. The Controller reports to the President, working under the direction of the CFO.ResponsibilitiesDocument, monitor and update accounting policiesEnsure all payments are completed on time (including accounts payable and bank deposits)Review quarterly and annual budgets for all departmentsAnalyze costs and profitsSet and track financial KPIsBuild risk assessment models to evaluate investmentsReport on financial status on a regular basis and create ad-hoc reports when neededMaintain accurate and up-to-date filing systemsPerform internal audits and assist with external auditsEnsure compliance with accounting and tax regulationsSkillsWork experience as a Controller or similar role in the manufacturing industryThorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and legislationHands-on experience with general ledger accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsExperience with cash management and risk assessmentGood knowledge of accounting softwareAttention to detailAbility to work with tight deadlinesBS or MS in Accounting or FinanceCPA or CMA preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 – $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Ball Ground, GA 30107: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:GAAP: 3 years (Preferred)Manufacturing Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
