Job Description : Job Summary:
An experienced hands-on controller to oversee all aspects of the company’s financial planning, management, and accounting operations. Someone who will be able to provide dynamic leadership by staying true to company values and focusing on people, strategy, and performance. A strong communicator who will be able to help improve operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth. Will have an opportunity to have an immediate and meaningful impact on the continued success of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

Planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions including AR, AP, Payroll, Inventory, and Compliance.
Assess all current accounting operations and offer recommendations for improvement and implementation of new processes.
Manage budget and forecast process / Develop and monitor business performance metrics.
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings for management.
Monthly cash flow projections.
Maintains an intimate understanding of inventory management, receivables, cash flow, and borrowing, with a focus on liquidity.
Assist in the hiring and training of operational staff as the company grows.
Oversee all monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax filings and compliance.
Manage loan payments and compliance.
Handle all external audits.
Review and process of bi-weekly payroll.
Assisting in the following Human Resource responsibilities including:
Onboarding new employees to the company.
Handling annual open enrollment process with outsourced vendors.
Managing all census and compliance reporting

Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
Experience: 7-10 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, management fees, and various expense reimbursements. proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several dependent and concrete independent variables.
Ability to work remotely while being part of the virtual team and managing deliverables.
Experience with start-up, early-stage companies, and/or quick-growing companies is a huge plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong analytical skills complemented by clear verbal and written communication skills. Fanatical discipline and relentless desire to do what needs to be done.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Property Accounting software; Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software. Strong computer skills; proficiency in Excel is required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
