Job Description : We are on the search for an experienced Financial Operations Senior Manager to join us on a permanent basis. This is a brand new role to the firm, it will be challenging and varied, with lots of opportunity to drive real change to our processes.

Reporting directly to our Chief Finance Officer and part of the Senior Finance Leadership team, you’ll be responsible for:

Leading the Billing, the Accounts Payable & Receivable and the Revenue Controls teams
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the transactional processing through a strong financial control environment
Managing the compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules
Managing the day-to-day banking requirements of the firm
Lead on elements of the finance department’s Financial Improvement Plan
To contribute to the Senior Finance Leadership Team and support the implementation of the finance strategy

To be successful as our Financial Operations Senior Manager, you will need to demonstrate the following:

Either an experienced qualified Accountant or have a proven track record in an equivalent role with good technical knowledge
Experience of managing the operations and transactions teams of a finance department ideally in professional services
Excellent people management skills to identify and develop talent and to manage teams
Quickly establishes good working relationships across the firm in order to exercise tact and diplomacy when working with people from all levels within the firm
Able to convey technical financial information to non-finance staff
Able to deal with confidential and sensitive information
Commercially aware and committed to continuous improvement
