Job Description : Job Description: Reports to: Director of OperationsHeritage Clinic is a nonprofit community mental health agency serving Older Adults and their families across Los Angeles County. We are seeking a key staff member who will be the initial face of the clinic to the public for our Lancaster office.Due to the demographic of clients we serve as a healthcare agency, staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before hire.Must be fluent in EnglishMust have outstanding computer and organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple requests concurrently.Must be able to communicate clearly, concisely and promptly in professional emails. Must be able to communicate effectively in English in person and on the phone.Must demonstrate good interpersonal and language skills, can maintain confidentiality, understand and adhere to healthcare and privacy (HIPAA) regulations, and present a professional appearance.A positive and caring attitude towards helping seniors and older adults is highly recommended.Responsibilities include:Create a welcoming environment for clients and staff.Assist clients through the building, answer phones and triage calls.Arrange and schedule Lyft rides for clients to and from the clinic.Assist psychiatrist via Telehealth and schedule medication support appointments.Maintain data entry tasks.Manage office supplies and overall office maintenance.Sort, scan and upload client documents to electronic charts.Plan and arrange staff meetings.Keep waiting room and kitchen clean and organized.Distribute mail.Do occasional errands in own car.Other duties as assigned.The following are essential to employment in this position: Own, and have readily available for use, a licensed, working vehicle; Valid California driver’s license; Current vehicle insurance that meets minimum liability limits prescribed by California law, and eligible for coverage under Heritage Clinic’s secondary auto insurance; live scan;Evidence of a negative tuberculosis examination within 60 days prior to employment; and Drug-free status indicated by pre-employment drug screening and post-employment individualized suspicion testing and post-accident testing.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:All staff must be fully vaccinated with booster.
