Job Title – Senior Manager
FS Alliances Lead, EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) – Technology Consulting
Location: Bangalore, India
Job purpose:
Lead the growth, team and operations in respect of alliances for FS sectors (namely, Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance and Wealth & Asset Management) within GDS – Technology Consulting sub-service line
Responsibilities: You are expected to:
Generate new business and collaborate with GDS stakeholders (internally and externally, working with EY member entities across the globe) to identify and drive growth opportunities – new solution offerings, new markets (e.g., in EMEA, APAC and Americas) and new clientsDrive growth of 15+ alliances/platform (e.g., SAP, Microsoft, ServiceNow, Pega, Adobe, etc.) for BFSI clientsDrive BFSI alliance deals based on solution offerings/assets/accelerators, etc.Enable GDS Alliance teams in respect of capability and capacity build-out, powered by FS sector specific solutions/assets/acceleratorsSell, influence, propose and facilitate delivering large scale digital transformation programs in respect of FS alliancesProvide support in defining strategic business direction and supporting activities vital to the growth of GDSDevelop business KPIs, benefits realization plan and measure KPIsDrive business development efforts to expand alliance footprint in FS sectors, enable our alliance teams to have a seat at the table to influence large deals.Facilitate in building and deploying high performance teams.Creative and innovative in driving automation and accelerators (alliance related and driven by GDS alliance teams) that deliver value and differentiation in FS client engagementsBe a continuous learner, lead with questions, reflect and listen for art of the possible to trigger bold new ideas/insightsBuild a diverse mix of team; play to each other’s strengths, coach, collaborate and build trust to achieve collective goalsEstablish an inclusive, open and safe environment where people are aligned around a shared purpose, feel free to be themselves and are valued for their differing identities, perspectives, and talentsIs mindful and fully present; maintains personal well-being to sustain positive energy and fuel resiliencePossess experience/expertise in FS domain and delivery of large transformation engagements related to ConsultingWork closely with onsite pursuit teams and GDS alliance leads in respect of contributing to pursuits, proposals, point of view, etc.Drive product and project architecture design in consultation with key stakeholders.Ability to work in a diverse culture and involve all the GDS locations across the globe (as relevant).
Other responsibilities:
Should be a professional with specialization relevant to any of the following areas: Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance and Wealth & Asset Management, Finance TransformationPreferably having worked in international markets and experience in BFSI industry, consulting, and offshoring organizationsKnowledge/awareness of a few of the key alliances, and also having the breadth and scale to identify and position varied alliances in respect of opportunities for FS clients.Strong oral and written skills with an ability to present a compelling storyAbility to act independently with minimal guidance.
General and Educational Qualifications / Certifications
Graduation from reputed institutes in Finance/Engineering or a related field with 15+ years of experience.Masters/professional degree in areas (as relevant to BFSI or FS sector) is a big plusExperience in management consulting and IT advisory consulting organizations is preferred
