Work you’ll do:
This is a key role at the heart of the Global Audit & Assurance Transformation (GAAT) Program as part of the Integrated Program Management Office (IPMO). This role is critical to the execution of Program Management activities enabling Transformation program alignment and delivery, including oversight & integration of workstream project plans, dependency management, program change control, risks/issues active management/ escalations, reporting execution, workstream leader/team’s stakeholder management.
This role will support the target operating model, and the network of complex inter-dependencies across multiple project workstreams and system product owners enabling our Transformation. Works in the IPMO Program Management pillar, including maintenance of the integrated program management roadmap, relationship management across key stakeholders, core assumptions spanning collective projects, along with management of program risks, issues, and dependencies feeding into executive prioritization and decision making.
Specific focus areas include:
Support a series of strategic technology/data projects
Challenge and support project teams and sponsors on their detailed plans to ensure delivery roadmaps stay aligned
Enhance an integrated project roadmap across several technology solutions, ensuring visibility of dependencies between products
Track, manage and escalate Program risks & issues
Manage relationships with key (including senior) stakeholders inside and outside of GAA (Global Audit & Assurance) to ensure aligned roadmaps
Ensure timely communication flow between projects, leadership, and key stakeholders in pursuit of alignment of decision making

Further:
This role sits in the Integrated Program Management Office of Transformation within GAA, that is both changing and complex, spanning multiple technology solutions and functional areas. The role faces an extraordinarily complex program that requires establishment of credibility, relationship building, and technical knowledge to apply the judgement and discretion demanded by this role. The candidate will need to apply deep experience in program management to negotiate challenging discussions with program stakeholders around overall strategy, priorities, meeting deadlines, risks & issues escalation, etc.
Role has shared accountability for the Program Management pillar within the IPMO, and program delivery of Executive priorities and integrated program roadmap
Role has shared ownership of decision-making for Program Management within the IPMO and will play a key role in alignment activities and decision-making for the IPMO, in collaboration with the Program Director

Reports to the IPMO Director, working closely with project managers, PMOs and business sponsors across a number of GAA technology projects. Also working with Deloitte wide (Green Dot) projects where there are inter-relationships and/or dependencies with the GAA projects.

Minimum 7 years of work experience, with at least 3 being in Program Management
Bachelor’s degree or similar professional qualification in the Program/Project management field
Proven experience of:
Building relationships with stakeholders
Leading across teams in a matrix environment
Proficiency in Microsoft product suite (PowerPoint, Word, excel and MS Project)
Managing a diverse portfolio
Knowledge and experience of delivering large-scale technology and/or data projects
Experience in a global organization, working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
Proven experience of fast-paced, high performance, corporate experience
Proven ability to operate successfully across complex landscape
