Job Description : Job description: We are looking for a highly motivated Insurance Verification Specialist to join our corporate office. This is a position that is open to growth within the company!This employee will be responsible for auditing all existing contracts and credentialing profiles to ensure complete service coverage. Followed by onboarding any new professionally licensed employees and credentialing them with the appropriate insurances.They will be responsible for maintaining all updated contracts, credentialing materials as well as up-to-date records and documentation.The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: – Be the point of contact for questions and issues relating to credentialing and contracts. This includes communicating with management when new changes need to be made in our processes, services or billing.- Follow up on any outstanding credentialing issues until complete resolution- Maintain current and organized records and files for credentialing. Including: contracts, applications, Insurance, and other necessary information.- Resolves contracting issues as it pertains to credentialing (incorrect or lack of provider or site information issues with health plan)- Answering phones- Verifying insurances- Checking documents for completion- Other office duties as assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: – 4+ years working in medical field-Experience with PECOS, CAQH, Optum, Multiplan and other credentialing processes a plusThis is a full time position, Monday-Friday 8 AM to 5 PMJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Insurance verification: 1 year (Preferred)Medical billing: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
