The Creative Email and Web Developer – HTML/CSS position is responsible for producing and maintaining creative content to support KnowBe4’s products and knowledge base. The ideal candidate is someone who is ready to unleash their inner hacker and develop sophisticated phishing email templates for simulated phishing tests. If a user falls for a simulated phishing attack, that user will be taken to an informative and/or fun-themed landing page that you created. The fun doesn’t stop there, though, as there are opportunities to create graphics, PDFs, and use your HTML/CSS skills to build web-based content. Responsibilities:

Produce creative content for KnowBe4 products, such as simulated phishing email templates, landing pages, graphics, and security awareness training content
Produce creative content such as graphics or PDFs to support KnowBe4’s knowledge base and our customers’ understanding of our products
Conceptualize creative ideas for new content through storyboarding, mockups, and prototypes
Collaborate with fellow team members or other departments on creative projects
Maintain the appearance of all creative content by enforcing team content standards
Respond to internal requests for creative content additions or updates
Communicate new creative content additions with other KnowBe4 teams/departments

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
Relevant Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Minimum 3 years experience using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
Minimum 2 years with general design experience
Experience using a variety of applications to produce creative content
Ability to balance innovation alongside company style guide standards
Proficient with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with designing and creating responsive and adaptive web pages
Ability to perform browser compatibility testing and debugging
Strong understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
Experience creating content with accessibility standards in mind
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Adaptable and enthusiastic about learning new techniques
Experience with MacOS
