Job Description : The Opportunity
The Digital Marketing Designer will work closely with the Sr. Art Director, Art Director, MMP, Assoc. Producer and performance marketing teams to create ads that drive customer acquisition on various digital channels, including Pinterest, Google, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc. The key deliverables will be creating high volume composites by combining product images with realistic backgrounds and shadows as well as animated gifs to be used in digital performance-driven marketing channels. They will support digital designers and art directors in supporting creative business needs. The Digital Marketing Designer will, on occasion, assist in the production of video and photoshoots.
The designer must have strong visual communication skills and be able to think strategically about what drives customer interest and conversion. The designer must be able to translate feedback into creative assets that prioritize marketing goals while maintaining the brand aesthetic. Must thrive under pressure of a fast-paced environment with changing demands. Collaborating with our internal performance marketing ad-agency will be a key component for this role. The designer will help to articulate and communicate effectively with marketers in ensuring alignment for creative direction.

Your Impact
You will design marketing ads that drive new names, sales, click thru rate, and any other primary/secondary KPIs. Marketing ads will be created through use of in-house, composite and vendor imagery as well as stock photography and creating high-impact ads/gifs that leverage animation and text. Uses graphic design principles including typography, color, and composition to create impactful solutions that effectively communicate the sales/marketing strategy and lead the customer to a desired action. Produces the design and production assets for paid social campaigns, affiliate marketing, Paid Search, as well as new and emerging channels. Assets may include (but are not limited to) apps, product graphics, web logos, performance marketing graphics, static and rich banner ads, email campaigns, and email templates. Support Digital Designers and Art directors as needed.
What You Bring
Degree in graphic design, UI design, electronic media design, or similar field or equivalent amount of related experience
A portfolio displaying strong compositing skills with product images into realistic environments, examples of Facebook ads, Pinterest ads, as well as animated ads.
Knowledge of performance marketing best practices
Agency experience is a plus.
1-3 years of relevant experience in digital marketing / advertising channels to understand best practices and creative nuances of these platforms. a performance marketing position
Understanding of ADA compliance and industry
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and strong knowledge
Must be a self-starter who doesn’t need a supervisor to spur action.
Strong history collaborating and building cross-functional partnerships
Can conceptualize customer behavior/psychology and develop actionable solutions based on analytical results
Work collaboratively in an environment that values innovation, flexibility, and creativity

Strong written and verbal communication skills
