Employee’s also have the option to participate in a financial wellness plan that includes individualized financial planning service with Sierra Ridge Wealth Management.POSITION SUMMARY: The FileMaker Pro Developer is a critically important team member who is responsible for maintaining and improving our customFileMaker Pro student, school, and employee information system. This position is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service when responding to, originating, and fulfilling requests from leadership and front line employees that lead to innovative improvements in our custom systems. The ideal developer has a strong understanding of relational database architecture and all the development tools available for the FileMaker Pro application. Because this role works collaboratively with a wide range of employees and departments, availability during standard business hours by phone or remote meetings is essential. A successful developer in this position will welcome the opportunity to harness their creative and problem solving skills.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain current FileMaker database applications and systems and communicate ongoing progress in weekly review meetings;Design and implement new FileMaker Pro solutions based upon requirements and user feedback;Work as a productive team member in support of defining requirements, acceptance criteria and delivery schedules;Assist in the development of functional specifications based on provided vision & scope;Analyze business needs; define goals, propose solutions, identify value;Propose creative solutions to mitigate potential problems;Contribute (as needed) to solution documentation and user training;Participate in business process review and redesign;Identify and prioritize key issues that need to be addressed for projects to succeed;May perform other duties commensurate with the functions and level of the position.SUPERVISORIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: NoneMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; graduate degree a plusExperience: Three (3) years direct experience developing relational databases in FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server; Proficient in both Mac and Windows environments; Integrating 3rd party plugins into FileMaker Pro solutions; Scripting, XML, SQL, WebDirect, and FileMaker Go; QuickBooks/FMBooks Connector experience a plus; Business Analyst experience a plus; Net experience a plus.Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Proven record of integrity, collegiality and collaboration in working with colleagues at all levels.Must be self-directed and have the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and complete assignments within established time frames.Communication skills (written and oral) to clearly, effectively and respectfully interact with diverse individuals; secure and/or provide information to clarify situations and resolve problems.Analytical/ problem solving skills to break down complex problems into component parts, make logical conclusions, and take appropriate actions. Recognize trends, key actions and underlying issues.Proven ability to assess issues and situations beyond ‘face value’ and the ability to probe beyond routine questions, identify, and resolve discrepancies in information.Proficient with email software, web applications, enterprise software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software.Physical Demands: Requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking and hearing in a standard office setting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision to read printed materials and a computer screen with ability to adjust focus. May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds.
