Position : Front-end Developer
Job Description : Teal Media is seeking an enthusiastic front-end developer for a full-time position. You will help bring our award-winning designs to life working along a dedicated team of designers and developers.
Location: Remote (but must live in the US)
Salary Range: $70K-$80K (pending experience)
What You’ll Do
Write clean, semantic, modern HTML/CSS
Assist in the implementation of custom visual designs, bringing them to pixel-perfect life
Be an integral part of our product team, supporting internal and client projects
Work closely with designers to validate designs for feasibility and help flag development risk
Support senior developers on larger, more complex projects
Assist with site setup and configuration
Conduct quality assurance, testing, and proofing on project deliverables
Ideal Candidates Will Have
3+ years of front-end coding experience
Great attention and appreciation of the details
Very comfortable with coding ‘from scratch’ as well as light use of existing frameworks
Understanding of the website design and development process, including working knowledge of git, mobile responsive design, and accessibility standards
Working knowledge of WordPress
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Thrives working in a fast-paced environment
Bonus points: Experience working in an agency or with nonprofits.
