As a Front-End Web Developer / Designer for Encamp …
You will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, and development of the Encamp website, in addition to creating and assisting with SEO and other digital content creation projects.
Responsibilities:
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Create and maintain website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
Assist in landing page creation for marketing campaigns
Integrate data from various back-end services, databases, and marketing tools (i.e., HubSpot)
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Maintain and optimize SEO health with best practices and thoughtful management
Create and maintain software documentation
Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site with special regard for UX, mobile, and site speed
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Cooperate with brand designer to match visual design intent
Requirements:
Proven working experience in web programming
Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
Experience working with WordPress or other CMS
Familiarity with PHP and Javascript
An eye for design aesthetics, brand consistency, or experience using design programs such as Creative Cloud, Invision, Canva and Sketch
A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
Working knowledge of SEO best practices with a drive to optimize and increase understanding
Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
