Accepting Oregon residents only. That means you currently live in Oregon and preferably the Portland metropolitan area. No relocation. No out-of-state candidates. No recruiting agencies. The job is currently remote but will move to hybrid if this COVID-19 thing ever ends.
Role
Independently adapt design compositions (Figma, Sketch, or InVision) to fast, responsive static sites.
Provide strong troubleshooting and debugging during all phases of the project life-cycle.
Communicate and work closely with backend developers and other technical staff.
Contribute to the frontend architecture for enterprise-level websites.
Must Haves
Demonstrate fluency in HTML5 and CSS through the use of Sass and grid frameworks (Bootstrap).
Extensive experience with Javascript and one or more libraries such as JQuery, Angular, or React.
Strong experience in responsive web design with a focus on performance.
Experience consuming RESTful services and working in a Service-Oriented Architecture.
Experience with Git source code repos.
Adhere to modular and accessibility best practices.
Nice to Have
Experience with Storybook UI components.
Understanding of CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Umbraco, or WordPress.
Education/Training
A four-year college degree in a related field such as computer software engineering is preferred but will substitute for boot camps/two-year degrees, industry training, and technical certifications.?
Previous agency experience is strongly preferred.

Grey Ghost Studio is looking for an outgoing and energetic individual who has strong dev skills, is a self-starter, and has a sharp attention to detail to join our team as a frontend web developer. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, has an eye for design, and is constantly looking to improve, propose, and implement processes to make our team more efficient and effective. The frontend web developer will be working with a cross-functional team to bring designs to life and will be responsible for end-to-end production including pre and post-launch work.
