Position : FX Trading Developer
Job Description : Position Purpose: As part of the FX group development team, you will work closely with senior developers, business leaders, and traders to expand and enhance automated trading systems and related internal tools.
Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Increase productivity by helping to decrease development time on critical projects
Learn how electronic markets function, including the application of low latency/ high frequency trading strategies across futures, OTC foreign exchange, and cryptocurrency markets.
Drive profitability and revenue generation by improving the quality and scalability of our electronic price distribution and risk management framework
Contribute to broader StoneX innovation efforts, collaborate with other product groups and development teams
Job Requirements:
Strong background in object-oriented programming and design (education or experience)
Experience with Python, NET development, and web development; Familiarity with machine learning and statistics
Ability to rapidly pick up languages, tools, and frameworks as needed
Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
Prior research experience in a technical field like physics, mathematics, computer science, game theory, or mechanism design
Deep interest in financial markets and technology including cryptocurrencies
Desire to work in a fast-paced agile development environment
Enthusiastic to expand skills as required to complete diverse projects
Excellent written communication
Team player, consistently reliable, high level of ethics
Physical requirements/Working conditions:
Climate controlled office environment
Minimal physical requirements other than occasional light lifting of boxed materials
Dynamic, time-sensitive environment
