Position : IT Web Developer
Job Description : The web developer will be responsible for maintenance, support, and development of our internal and external websites. The web developer will respond to work requests from managers and staff in various departments. At times they will be required to respond to requests from senior management and to provide creative solutions to unique issues. In addition, the web developer will be involved in building new content to support the company’s goals. On all websites, the ability to work quickly and accurately is critical.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the maintenance, support and development of our internal and external websites and solutions
Demonstrate a strong background in requirements gathering, tracking and analysis with an ability to communicate the information to both technical and non-technical professionals
Analyze work requests and build or modify web pages as required
Participate with the business analysts and/or users in system testing
Manage and resolve IT tickets in the ticketing platform
Assist with various IT projects and initiatives
Other Duties as needed or required
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
Knowledge of CRM and ERP systems a huge plus (Dynamics 365, NetSuite Cloud)
Understanding of UX and optimize web pages & SEO for conversion
Evaluate web performances & experience in building landing pages
Code and deploy applications in a cross platform, cross browser environment
Maintain communication with team members and agency partners concerning the direction of the website
Knowledge of Google Analytics and GTM are required. This would include knowledge of media tagging and tracking. This includes best practices and real-world use cases to help the business gather data to react to meet business goals and objectives
Experience with responsive and adaptive design
Experience with Front End frameworks such as React, Backbone.js, Angular, and other
QA and testing to validate the creative intent
Experience with implementing development work in a client and agency driven optimization environment (time sensitive, KPI test and learn, KPI-driven)
Willingness to perform all job duties with enthusiasm and a positive outlook
Deep appreciation for teamwork and drive to be part of a high-level team
Must demonstrate flexibility, and strong communication skills
Education and Experience:
BS in Computer Technology or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of experience as an advanced web developer
NetSuite Site Builder development experience a plus
Preferred Skills:
WordPress and Plugins
PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
MySQL
PHP
Apache
Debian Linux (a major plus)
Physical Requirements (what is physically required to perform the daily tasks and job duties? Be specific.)
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%-75%
Walking/Bending/Stooping 50%-75% to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
Light to moderate lifting
