Web Developers are responsible for developing B2B and B2C WordPress based websites for financial advisors, as well as internal company needs. These may include DNS management, website building, landing page and email template building, and more.
**This is an in-office role. We do not accept applications for candidates looking for 100% remote work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create custom WordPress websites from Adobe XD designs
Design and implement new features and content for existing sites
Develop various types of WordPress based websites (splash pages, brochure/company sites, eCommerce sites, event registration, etc.)
Work with developing email templates and landing page. Experience with Pardot, MailChimp, etc. is a plus
Work well with teams on projects as well as self-manage assigned workload
Advising clients and vendors on improvements in website design and layout, as well as making the website more user-friendly and easy to navigate
Consult and discuss with clients and vendors about various aspects of website construction and timelines
Manage server install environments, DNS records, email accounts, and more
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong CSS, Sass, HTML, JavaScript and jQuery skills
Experience working with Bootstrap is required
Excellent custom WordPress coding skills required
Experience working with PHP is a plus
Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
Working knowledge of UX Strategy
Working knowledge of DNS records and hosting of sites, emails, etc.
Comprehensive understanding of responsive web development and cross-browser testing
Project management and communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
Google Analytics & SEO knowledge (preferred but not required)
Experience with Adobe XD, Photoshop and Illustrator (preferred but not required)
Experience with eCommerce (preferred but not required)
