We believe that website is the first window to a company’s product. Our website is a crucial medium for
story-telling where visitors can get the flavour of Chargebee and how we can help them grow.
As a marketing design team, designers enable marketers to realize their visions. Illustrators support designers in conveying concepts via media, animators support illustrators in bringing the media to life, and ultimately, developers give birth to the overall concept.
Together we design and build chargebee.com.
About the Role:
As a front-end developer, you will have the breadth to design, concept, prototype, and build new experiences for our website.
You’ll also be responsible for translating the UI design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of chargebee.com. You’ll work closely with the designer bridging the gap between visual design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the website looks and how it works.
You’ll contribute new components to our libraries and use them to create new pages such as chargebee.com. You exclusively work on the Chargebee marketing website and not on the product application.
We want every pixel to count, and we want it to be captivating. In addition, we are continuously thinking about in-browser performance and creating abstractions that other designers and developers can consume and build on.
We expect you to have:
In-depth knowledge of modern Javascript/HTML5/CSS3
Experience designing and building public-facing websites that work elegantly across commonly used browsers
Basic understanding of SEO guidelines and implementing them into page designs.
Advanced knowledge in building high-performance web pages
You Will:
Work closely with designers, illustrators, and other developers—prototype and iterate with the design team on new ideas.
Combine the art of design with the art of programming
Design and build entire experiences for sites like chargebee.com
