We are seeking a Software Developer with five years experience to join our team in Denton, TX. Agile experience a requirement. Looking for candidates with solid job tenure and strong communication skills. Must live local. Pay is based on experience $85-90k, plus bonus potential, profit sharing and a generous 401k match.

Job description
General Summary: This position is responsible for developing applications in an agile software development methodology that meet our user needs. Determine user requirements by detailed analysis, understand business processes, procedures and problems to develop, implement, test, deploy and support applications to meet business needs across the enterprise.
Positions reporting to this position: none Duties and Responsibilities
Develops applications using current, standard development languages, tools and platforms
Writes detailed description of user requirements and processes, program functions and steps required to develop or modify computer applications
Studies existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develops new systems to improve production or workflow
Confers with designated users to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements
Manages and schedules project’s scrum processes and produces reports on project(s) progress
Adheres to standard practices and procedures for the development team with respect to coding, variables, table design, etc.
Reviews system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible and feasible within existing system
Plans and prepares functional and technical documents, reports, memoranda and instructional manuals
Supports the end-user on the proper utilization of applications
Provides enhancements, upgrades and maintains applications after implementation
Models data relationships within and between systems
Writes stored procedures, SSIS packages and other tools for data transference, application interface and maintenance
Educational Requirements: Degree in Computer Science or related equivalent education and field experience.
Experience: Five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
