We give our engineers an environment in which they can contribute from day one while also providing opportunities for learning and growth. You will learn how our entire stack works – from data ingestion, storage, search, and analytics to implementing dashboards and tools to support operational requirements.
You will get to work with a super smart bunch of folks who are doing state of the art development work in both the front and back end. You will be interacting with product management, customers, and other engineering teams across Splunk to understand detailed requirements.
Splunk is looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join the effort in the development of Cloud SaaS products.
4+ years of experience building frontend applications, UI components, or UI frameworks.
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field of study. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Solid frontend development skills, particularly in React/Redux or similar technologies.
Good understanding of CSS3, REST APIs, and JSON.
Proven track record in developing and owning moderate complexity features or sub-systems.
Ability to collaborate with design, product, and cross-functional engineering teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Passionate about developer production and efficiency.
Finds value in preparing Unit Tests and Functional tests.
Always thinking about the customer user experience, while keeping efficient performance in mind.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and mentor junior team members.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
