The Marketplace team is making it possible for our enterprise customers to seamlessly connect Indeed’s products to the other tools they use as part of their hiring workflow. Our goal is to remove the friction within our customers’ hiring stack so that they spend less time keeping systems in sync and more time hiring.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Marketplace team, you will help build systems that bring together Indeed’s core platforms to the other third-party systems our customers use. This will include building and consuming APIs, data pipelines, and management tools to connect the dots within Indeed’s partner ecosystem. As a team that sits at the nexus between a diverse set of platforms, we value adaptable developers that can learn new things quickly.
Requirements
Minimum of a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related computer technical field
5+ years experience programming with at least one of the following languages: Java, Ruby, Python
Experience in full-stack web development
Experience with data stores such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL
Experience with automated testing and continuous delivery

Experience with workflow frameworks such as AWS SWF, AWS Step Functions, Cadence, or Temporal
Demonstrated use of Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ, or other messaging frameworks
Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot

Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
