Position
The Software Engineer – Web Frontend role will be a technologist who brings experience in multiple domains to bear on building web applications at scale, and who ideally has in-depth knowledge of many technologies, platforms, tools, frameworks and best practices. The candidate will collaborate with internal teams to produce functional consumer-facing applications. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership to all applications and influence product strategy. We are looking for a seasoned engineer and strong collaborator who can work with talented people in product, design, data science and engineering to help build an amazing consumer experience product.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Collaborative approach to software development, testing and deployment.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Carium’s products by sharing feedback.
Must enjoy building solutions and guiding others.
Design and build the Carium web applications.
Requirements:
BS degree in computer science or related field
Familiarity with web frameworks such as React, Ember or Angular
Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript/Flow
Familiarity with web build/development tools (eg. node, webpack, babel, jest)
Familiarity with web testing framework (eg. selenium or watir) is preferred
Strong troubleshooting and research skills – highly curious in nature
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A knack for success in a fast-paced environment
Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
