Job Description : Front-end web development, also known as client-side development is the practice of producing HTML, CSS and JavaScript for a website or Web Application so that a user can see and interact with them directly. Responsibilities include:Development of web applications through all phases of the development life cycle (including planning, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining)Working with project managers using traditional and Agile methodologies to plan and execute development.A solid grasp of fundamental algorithms and applications.Firm understanding of software development principles, capabilities, and limitations of platforms, including first-time user experience, battery life, connectivity issues, and perceived performance.Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team.Strong design and coding skills in Typescript/Javascript.Strong Hands-on experience with HTML 5 Semantic Markup.Strong Hands-on experience with CSS and experience with CSS preprocessors.Strong Hands-on experience with Vanilla JavaScript.Strong experience working with Single Page Applications (SPA).Strong Hands-on experience creating and debugging applications with React.Strong experience working with Redux and Context API.Experience working with component-based Architecture.Experience working with Micro Frontends Architecture.Experience creating Unit Testing.Experience working with Node ecosystem.Experience working with NPM (creating Node Packages) and Artifactory.Hands on experience with JavaScript frameworks.Knowledge of Accessibility and Web Standards.Experience with both Responsive and Adaptive Web Design.Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, yarn, etc.Contract length: 12 monthsJob Types: Full-time, ContractSalary: $40.00 – $55.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Irving, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Front-end development: 1 year (Preferred)CSS: 1 year (Preferred)Angular: 1 year (Preferred)Work Remotely:No
