Job Description : The candidate will be responsible for developing custom software and APIs for the transfer of information from system to system.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, document, and test APIs.Translating complex functional & technical requirements into detailed architecture and designDelivering systems and features with high quality, on timeImplementing RESTful API’s for internal and external customersAssisting with deploying applications onto distributed systemsWorking with architects, product managers and QA to be successfulAgile development and project management will be used; SCRUMs will take place with the business area twice a week at a minimum.Developing internal web applications consumed by internal departmentsDeveloping WCF/RESTful Core Service APIs consumed by internal departmentsDeveloping APIs using WCF, Entity Framework, LINQ, and C#Business analysis, testing, and deploymentQUALIFICATIONS: 7+ years Cross Platform development experience required.Programming knowledge (C#/Java) preferred, but not required.Thorough understanding of various types of database schemasExperience working with web-based APIs.Good attention to detail.Analytical background with strong problem-solving skills.Good verbal and written communication skills.Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; advanced certifications are consideredStrong experience with ASP.NET and C#Background with MVCService oriented architecture and micro-servicesExperience with RESTful API designStrong knowledge of JQuery, Json and JavascriptJob Type: Full-timePay: $39.00 – $60.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Sterling Heights, MI 48313: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Work Location: One location
