Safeharbor Knowledge Solutions ( http://www.safeharbor.com ), is a leader in knowledge management solutions and contact center services that help organizations provide superior customer support, while reducing costs. We are seeking a web designer to work with the product team in our Tukwila, WA office.
As a Web Designer, you will create graphics, screens, templates and layouts that reflect and extend the established style guide. You will also work on usability testing that lead to better products.
You will work closely with the product managers, and developers. You will translate creative directions and discussions into leading on-demand application design and layout. You will create and maintain a consistent look-and-feel of our application.
Experience/Skills Required:
Degree in design or relevant experience
2+ years of hands-on experience in visual or interactive design
Develop and present working mock-ups
Detailed understanding of color, space, and typography
Keen eye for detail and a proven track record producing consistent clean icons, graphics, and layouts
Skills in major graphic software programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
Strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills
Able to successfully manage all aspects of a project from start to finish
Must be self-motivated, a good communicator, comfortable following direction, and able to balance great design with meeting short deadlines
Ability to pick up new scripting languages quickly
Concept and design of fun, engaging and easy to use web pages
Experience/Skills Desired:
Ability to understand and visually explain technical concepts
Experience with Flash, Flex, and Actionscript
