This guru should be able to take designs from our design team and create robust interactive websites. Must have an eye for design, and user experience. The successful candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. They will be able to transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs. Insight designs 1,000’s of websites for both information and e-commerce. Since the shoe makers kids go shoeless this person also needs to be able to update and grow our own website. Social networking, ad placing, and editing is a must!ResponsibilitiesWork with a design and digital team to create websitesCreate and manage social media accountsCreating, managing, updating and growing websites built on WordPress, Shopify, Woocommerce, Square, and morePlacing ads on – Google and syndicated networkPlacing social media adsSetting up emails (office365, Google workspace)Domain set upDigital trouble shootingSEO configuration and monitoringExecute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineeringConceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocksCreate wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideasPresent and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholdersEstablish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standardsSkillsProven work experience as a web designerDemonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolioSolid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site mapsProficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing toolsProficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototypingExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development processExcellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interactionAbility to solve problems creatively and effectivelyUp-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologiesBS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or a Visual Arts subjectWordpress, Shopify, Woocommerce, Square – KNOWLEDGE IS A MUSTGoogle, social and syndicated network ad set up and exsecutionEmail set up (office365, Google workspace)Domain set up and configurationDigital trouble shootingSEO executionJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractSalary: $20.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountFlexible spending accountProfessional development assistanceReferral programSchedule:10 hour shift12 hour shift8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCommission payEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Web development: 2 years (Required)Web design: 2 years (Required)Work Location: Multiple Locations
