We got a New Job Opening for Web Developer at Apex Health Solutions.
Full Details :
Company Name : Apex Health Solutions
Location : Remote
Position : Web Developer
Job Description : Apex Athenium: Web Developer: Full-Stack Light (Remote)
Apex Athenium is looking for a solution-oriented web developer to standup, maintain, and update our website. We’re a subsidiary of Apex Health Solutions LLC, a passionate team of professionals dedicated to helping healthcare organizations make the transition to value-based care. Athenium was specifically created to help healthcare professionals – from C-Suite leaders to managers and operators – receive the latest, most relevant news and knowledge about the constantly evolving world of Value-Based Care and make the subject conversational.
We need a talented person to help get Athenium online. Long-term, the right applicant will work closely with the editor to create an elegant web presence. This begins with the design of Athenium’s home and sub-pages as well as some light server-side work. This person will be able to set and negotiate reasonable deadlines, accept and apply feedback, and keep a balance between daily tasks and long-term projects.
We aren’t asking for years of experience and a dozen high profile projects under your belt. We are looking for someone hungry who is creative and likes a challenge.
What We Need:
Under the guidance of the Digital Content Editor, you’ll develop the website. In practice, this means building and styling pages, stress testing, using best practices for mobile-first design, writing database queries that are simple and intuitive. After the site is ready, you’ll be responsible for maintaining it as well as making updates as new content, products, and capability requirements are developed by the operations and content teams.
We’re excited about making the best content we possibly can, and we don’t want to miss a smart talented person. We will not make selection (or exclusion) decisions based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
What We Need from You:
The most important thing on this job is that you do the things you say you can. The expectation is that you’ll come in with language competencies. However, we’re absolutely aware that plenty of solutions are created in the development process. We need a candidate who can clearly articulate what they can do, what they need to research, and what is logistically not feasible. It’s also extremely helpful if you can explain your process. As mentioned, there are specific nuts and bolts, discussed below:
What You Need:
A college degree and in web design/development or a very good case for why you’re a self-taught genius
A portfolio containing examples of your work
A track record of being successful under tight deadlines
High fluency in HTML5/CSS3
High fluency in design for mobile first
Fluency in JS, a server-side language (PHP preferred), and domain-specific language (SQL preferred)
Bootstrap and SASS are a plus
Genuine desire to learn new things
The curiosity to challenge assumptions
Confidence to speak up when you know are right
Grace to listen when you’re not sure
Ability to accept and implement critique
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge/general understanding of value-based care a plus
What You’ll Get:
A team of respectful, supportive, and committed professionals that believe they are changing healthcare for the better
A fast-paced environment that encourages creative thinking and personal initiative
Competitive salary
Health/Vision/Dental for which we chip in on the premium
Generous vacation and sick leave
401k plan with employer match
A work environment that thrives on positivity
What Now?

A 1-page cover letter that makes you stand out
If you’ve never written a cover letter before, do some research. Show us you can adapt to new situations.
