Job Description : Responsibilities Designing and implementing new features and functionalityDesigning mock-ups for webpages and emailsCoding mock-ups for both responsive and mobile websitesDesigning, testing, and implementing custom website pages and formsMigrating websites from the older content management system to WordPressEstablishing and guiding the website’s architectureEnsuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of a CMSHelping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working websiteSkills and Qualifications Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap 4, SASSExperience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applicationsExperience designing and developing responsive design websitesAbility to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsersAbility to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pagesKnowledge of how to interact with APIs and formats (JSON, XML)Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsProficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Microsoft TFSProficient with Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)Knowledge of ADA & WCAG compliance standardsKnowledge of the following is a plus, but not required:WordPress ACFWordPress APIsUnderstanding of PHP back-end development Experience andEducation: Information Management, Computer Science, or any closely related field with at least 5 years’ experience working in a web design and development environment.
