We think Web Developers are total magicians.
After all, it’s just an idea until it’s brought to life online! As a tech agency, we help our clients with web development as well as maintain our own applications.
On any given day, a Web Developer at Inventive can be found collaborating with the team, including our CEO, or working directly with our clients to define, design, and ship new features. There will be multiple projects that our Web Developer manages at once, so organization and prioritization are key.
Responsibilities
Getting shit done, brilliantly isn’t just a cheeky tagline. We love to roll up our sleeves, constantly iterate, and stay focused on the work that matters. We say what we mean, so get prepared to jump on board and trust your gut when it comes to GSD – let’s rock it out!
We’ll be developing brand new UI layouts and workflows, as well as reusable elements. We’re also constantly looking to find ways to improve systems, solutions, and processes, so we’d like someone who is thoughtful and unafraid to speak up and share smart improvements to bottlenecks and bugs.
Ultimately, developing responsive, quality and high-performing applications require a Web Developer that is a strong programmer and team player who is highly motivated in all things. Oh, and when the application launches, we’re always sure to create solid support documentation – just in case!
Qualifications
Experience that’s required (and really important to have):
Experience with a current CMS (WordPress, Shopify, Prismic, Cascade, etc)
Proficient in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
Experience with Google Analytics and/or MixPanel
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React
Familiarity with using RESTful APIs for dynamic websites
Knowledge of web technologies and UI/UX standards
Ability to analyze, design, document, develop, test, implement, launch, and maintain applications
Ability to communicate and collaborate in a remote team setting, and work independently.
Wildly impressive folks will also have experience with:
Web development in a consulting environment
Proven knowledge of the most current security and web development programming languages
Entrepreneurial pursuits, such as starting your own business
