Job Description : PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position supports the web content management system (Adobe’s WEM (formerly Day CQ5), modifies existing functionality and creates new functionality utilizing JSP/Java. Assists in the maintenance of the CQ application and associated websites. In addition, this position contributes to other Java-based projects and initiatives within IS&T.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Builds and maintains JSP/Java based components and templates for Adobe CQ Implementation.
Assists with configuration and maintenance of Adobe CQ Implementation.
Builds HTML & Javascript portions for Adobe CQ Components as needed.
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering or other related field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
3 plus years of web (application) development using JSP-based tools.
Experience with Agile and Lean methodology and the Scrum framework is highly desirable.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Familiarity with Apache Sling/OSGi, Adobe/Day CQ5 a definite plus.
Flexibility to rapidly learn other languages as needed (e.g. PHP, .Net, Python, etc.).
Must be able to keep current with new IT security technology and policy developments and present options for improvement as required.
