Job Description : Kollins Communications, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated, highly creative full-time Web Programmer who is looking to grow within our team. Our company provides a new approach to website design services to small businesses and organizations. In addition to website design, Kollins Communications provides retail video displays with BrightSign media players that utilize a lot of the same tools/principles used in web development.ResponsibilitiesExecute designed website/interface layoutsExploit existing systems and make suggestions for improvementWork collaboratively to implement projectsParticipate in client meetings to ensure design and brand consistencyRequirementsGood understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.Strong understanding of PHP back-end developmentKnowledge of how to interact with WebSockets, SOAP and RESTGood analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to handle changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and work within tight time frames and deadlinesDesire to take complete ownership of assigned projectsVery organized and detailed orientedHave experience writing web applications that are secure and scalableHave excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to learn new technologiesBachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalentA Real PlusProgramming for BrightSign media players (BrightAuthor/BrightScript)Programming for Samsung Tizen OS or AndroidInterest and experience in digital media design, digital marketing, digital videoJob Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planSchedule:8 hour shiftEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:JavaScript: 3 years (Preferred)PHP: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
