Duties and Responsibilities
The Junior Web Developer will assist in development, maintenance, and support for UMC-owned and UMC-supported web-based technology solutions including but not limited to Loyola’s web CMS—Terminal Four (T4), Slate, Poppulo, WordPress, Exposure, Site Improve, and Google Analytics. This person will also be able to support HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development.
Duties & Responsibilities
Support the coding development of enterprise level templates and structure in support of the University WebsiteAssist the Senior Developer in building, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of the technical aspects of Loyola’s websites, ensuring that all websites function properly, adhere to the standard template and best practices for usability through Loyola’s web CMS, Terminal Four (T4).Assist in managing, tracking, and supporting general web requests using UMC’s Project Management Tools (Smartsheet)Assist in maintenance of the University Calendar/News and Events System, Iggy’s List, email newsletters/e-blast (template production and delivery), and WordPress/Blogs systemsAssist with maintenance, management, and implementation of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Google AdWords etc.Help submit/track issues with Loyola’s CMS vendor, Terminal Four

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing, or related area.
Minimum: 2 years’ experience concepting and developing backend web applications
Advanced Level in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Advanced Level in the development of enterprise level Web Content Management systems
