Due to our current growth we are looking for an amazing Web Developer to work with our Marketing team! This position will play an integral role in helping create and improving our digital assets for internal and external interactions with our customers and employees! We are looking for someone that has an analytical and creative skillset to help improve customer engagement and assist the organization with aggressive growth topics. Position Duties:
Participate in team planning meetings for new features/functionality
Work independently on tasks and write tests, ensuring error-free operation
Code review other programmer’s work and suggest improvements when needed
Comment code regularly, maintain code integrity and organization
Work with outside APIs to integrate into our system
Design and develop new features aimed at improving the user experience and delivering value to our users at every interaction
Develop, test, and deploy new features to our custom e-commerce platform
Actively participate in marketing meetings to provide technical website solutions and UI enhancements
Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications
Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements (with the ability to also design independently, as needed)
Understand and implement security and data protection
Develop experiences for both mobile and desktop
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of PHP (experience with Laravel framework is preferred)
4+ years of experience building web applications from start to finish
1+ years of experience in developing solutions for business operations
Experience consuming REST web services and working with JSON
Custom theme management
Code organization and documentation
At least 2 years with front end technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
Git Hub experience and knowledge of best practices
Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
Demonstrate a dependable work ethic
Ability to be flexible as priorities shift and tasks evolve
Manage multiple work projects simultaneously, while adhering to deadlines
Ready and willing to tackle any problem
Team player with positive attitude
