No artificial flavors, no frivolous extras- just science-backed with premium natural ingredients.What we are looking forKalaVita is currently looking for a Web Developer who will be responsible for Shopify website development-coding and resolving technical issues with web pages, debug websites, work closely with creative team to develop user-facing features for web and mobile applications, optimizing web application for maximum speed and scalability.Responsibilities* Builds and customizes functionality and UI/UX on top of Shopify platform* Plans, designs, and implements web development tasks in support of the organization’s external and internal web-based applications* Tests, debugs, and documents web applications using appropriate editors, processes, and services* Updates web pages to conform to web standards using best practices and ensures content accuracy* Identifies and recommends new Web features and applications* Diagnoses and troubleshoots any problems with existing web applications and sites* Ensures security of all websites and related applications* Performs periodic website audits* Monitors and reports on website traffic and performanceRequirements* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems computer science or related field* 3+ years of work experience in Web Development* In depth experience with Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript* In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools* Excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills* Experience with Ecommerce platforms, especially Shopify* Experience with site optimization and performance best practices (SEO and Site Speed)Job Type: Contract. 20 hours/month.
