Position : Web / Ecomm Developer
Job Description : Responsibilities
Develop and manage UI / UX of e-commerce web site and ensure optimization for usability and layout on desktop and mobile interfaces
Research the newest and latest technologies of web design / development that reflects the innovation of the Ember brand
Utilize e-commerce platform to identify and improve website performance and cross-departmental workflows to increase efficiencies and improve sales and revenue4
Work with Digital Marketing team and external agencies to improve SEO and website enhancements
Design and manage UI / UX of customer support site and CRM platform while working closely with Customer Experience team to help customers find self-sufficient answers and solutions
Design UI / UX of Corporate Sales page to help department handle inquiries from corporations and partners
Identify, debug and troubleshoot website and platform errors and work with necessary teams, developers and agencies to problem solve
Design and manage implementation of Degrees of Ember blog to optimize time on site and engagement
Ensure website maintains proper Accessibility compliance
Qualifications
Extensive experience and knowledge of Shopify, GraphQL, Liquid, Hydrogen, Canvas
Strong design skills to maintain brand aesthetic
Staying up-to-date on current web developing technologies (attending townhalls regularly, researching new betas, etc.)
Experience in coding languages, such as Javascript, JSON, HTML5, CSS3 etc.
Strong knowledge of Liquid, and how it may be utilized to enhance Search Engine Optimization
Knowledge of what strategies to take to improve page speed score
Minimum of Associate of Arts degree
