Job Description : Junior Treasury Analyst (Remote)
At National Spine & Pain Centers (NSPC), our mission is to relieve pain and improve quality of life through personalized, accessible care. We are currently looking for a Treasury Analyst to support our Accounting and Finance team.
The Treasury Analyst is responsible for providing successful leadership and management implementing “best practice” treasury processes in support of the needs of a fast-growing business to increase efficiencies, enhance controls and diligently oversee day-to-day treasury operations. The Treasury Analyst manages treasury operations by managing banks, managing transaction processing procedures, assuming security of cash funds and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Treasury Functions:
Evaluates, recommends and implements products for automating daily and monthly treasury processes;
Assists with integration of new locations regarding bank account setup, merchant card processing, purchasing cards, check scanners and closing of legacy bank accounts;
Completes the daily cash reports for facilities and corporate office;
Identifies cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities;
Supports cash forecasting process;
Monitor cash accounts daily;
Notify accountants of commercial deposits made and provide coding for input into G/L;
Assist billing companies and site staff to research daily transaction items;
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts;
Reconcile monthly cash sheets from various billing companies to cash posted in General Ledger;
Prepare training materials for cash collection platform(s);
Update/maintain access to all bank accounts;
Set up new bank accounts/lockbox accounts as necessary;
Maintain/update signature cards to all bank accounts;
Initiate ACH and wire transfer payments as needed;
Accounting Functions:
Prepare weekly journal entries for all bank account transactions;
Prepare journal entries to move 90+day outstanding checks to liability account;
Assist with the annual audit as needed.
Other duties:
Special projects as assigned;
Adhere to and uphold all applicable federal and state compliance regulations as well as NSPC’s Code of Conduct and Associate Handbook, compliance policies and procedures, and applicable healthcare fraud, waste and abuse laws;
Understands, complies with, and enforces all NSPC policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and OSHA and HIPAA privacy rules.
