Job Description : What’s the role about?:

Junior Group Reporting Analyst
Full Time, Permanent
Package: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum + annual company bonus
Working: Monday to Friday
Location: Hybrid Role – Work from Home with some visits to Head Office, Winnersh Triangle – RG41 5TS
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining accounting records for Group holding companies (“Hold Co’s”) such as cash books, bank payments and balance sheet reconciliations
Uploading trial balances for the Hold Co’s into BPC and completing basic additional information on a monthly basis
Roll forward and update standing data for consolidation on a monthly basis and completing pre month end checks
Prepare excel upload files for monthly reporting to shareholders and uploading these files into external systems
Perform detailed analysis on financial data, such as the database of leases held by the group
Preparing consolidation-related journals and intra group reconciliations and schedules
Assist with the preparation of disclosure summary information to provide to verify the figures reported on a quarterly basis
Support the management of the external audit process including preparation of schedules/ reconciliations, liaison with local finance teams and attending audit progress meetings

Requirements:
Part Qualified accountant
Currently studying toward ACCA or CIMA
2 years of experience in a financial reporting or management accounting role
Computer literate with strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS etc)
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
Good with technology, ability to learn new systems
Good communication skills (both oral and written)
A team player
Willingness to learn
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to multi-task and prioritise workflow around tight deadlines
