Job Role Summary
Work with business and technical teams to provide technical support and development expertise for Energy Trading and Risk Management (Endur Openlink) and internal application to support trading upstream business, using MS SQL, Core Java, Microsoft Azure (Cloud), Java script, C#, ASP.NET (MVC5, web based)
Job Responsibilities
Ability to effectively troubleshoot complex issues, support and break fix of existing trading application
Familiarity with multi-system integration and common issues that can arise when integrating enterprise technologies
Design and develop enterprise services using MS SQL, Core Java, Java script, C#, Microsoft Azure (Cloud), ASP.NET (MVC5, web based)
Execute demos, projects, and proof of concepts in development or technical design
Collaborate with project teams, business customers and other support partners in solution ideation, requirements gathering and product delivery
Perform any regression testing applicable, able to analyze and fix all UAT defects.
Ensure solution compliance to solution design, best practices, technical architecture, design standards, technology roadmaps and business requirements
Support adoption / promotion of new products delivered
Explore and develop skills in new technologies according to technology roadmap
Job Requirements
Minimum Bachelor of Science. in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience in applications development, support and design
Deep understanding of applications integration and relational databases
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Self-Starter and able to work independently
Understand emerging technologies
Strong problem resolution skills, and analytical skills
Strong customer focus
Commitment to teamwork, ability to interface with clients, technology partners, testing, architecture and analysis groups
Commitment to excellent product quality
Willing to travel internationally and accommodate occasional work schedule flexibility
Preferred Knowledge:
Experience in Agile development and working on an Agile team
Working knowledge of Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM)
Strong Technical Skills: MS SQL, Core Java
Technical Skills: C#, Microsoft Azure (Cloud), Java script, ASP.NET (MVC5, web based), HTML
