America’s premier hearing care organization, is seeking a dependable and personable medical receptionist to join our team. This position is full time with a 40 hour work week. This position will have an hourly rate, commissions and opportunity for bonuses. Benefits package including; Medical, Dental, Life, PTO and 401K.As a key member of our team, best-in-class customer care starts with you. Your primary responsibility is to manage the patient process professionally and accurately with a “family friendly” demeanor. The following activities are required: greeting patients, updating patient files, managing the telephone activities, scheduling appointments, completing financial transactions and tracking office inventory using the point-of-sale system.Responsibilities and DutiesAnswer telephone and arrange appointments for the Hearing Care Practitioner.Serve as a liaison with the patient and become the customer’s point of contact with aftercare.Update patient files with notes and schedule follow-up appointments.Complete telephone calls to schedule new patients for appointments.Perform a variety of additional administrative duties and other duties as assignedQualifications and SkillsMust be friendly and dependable, and enjoy helping othersMust be organized and able to multitask effectivelyExcellent phone skills requiredExperience in outbound calls.Previous office experience requiredProficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) requiredAbove average computer skills requiredHigh School diploma or equivalent required; some college preferredNO PHONE CALLS PLEASEJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: From $33,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus paySigning bonusEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)Patient Check-in: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
