Position :
Job Description : The Midstream Revenue Accountant is responsible for, but is not limited to, tracking and managing volumes and accounting for the monthly billing and producer/customer settlement statements.
Essential Job Functions:
Creation and distribution of monthly invoices, remittances and allocations for Midstream Accounting Department.
Daily and/or monthly accounting for loss and unaccounted volumes.
Preparation of monthly accrual of Midstream Revenue and/or Cost of Goods sold.
Creation of monthly gross margin summary and monthly volume summary.
Responds to customer inquiries and interacts with 3rd party vendors and field personnel.
Special Projects as assigned.
Experience:
Must be able to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
Must be organized and detail oriented.
Must be able to function as a team player, ability to contribute to team efforts.
Must be able to demonstrate accuracy in daily work and other projects.
Must be able to communicate professionally and maintain good working relationships with all employees.
Complies with federal, state, and local financial and legal requirements.
Maintains confidence of financial information.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
