Job Description : Summary/Objective
Responsible for the accurate financial reporting for the Production and Janitorial operations. Works with all the department managers to develop, implement, and monitor budgets and costing for current and new programs and all the lines of business. Also, responsible for performing payroll function for both weekly and bi-weekly payrolls.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during business hours. Evening work may be required as job duties demand.
Essential Functions
Partners with department managers to create and monitor reports used to measure the financial performance of all Production and Janitorial operations.
Completes, maintains and coordinates all Janitorial contracts.
Reviews and maintains all Productions bids.
Responsible for completing and submitting required agency reports.
Maintains current data on labor, material and overhead costs for the purpose of achieving profitability for all jobs, projects and business maintenance activities.
Works with General Accounting team with month end close and cost analysis.
Identifies and communicates opportunities for cost savings.
Review Account Payables and Billings from Accounting Assistant.
Creates the monthly janitorial billing for the Accounting Assistant.
Makes banking deposits and pulls banking information for Accounting Assistant.
Processes multiple payrolls on a weekly and bi-weekly bases.
Completes bi-weekly ratio reports for Production.
Reviews Time & Attendance, salary statements, mileage reimbursements and tax information for bi-weekly payroll.
Assists employees with payroll questions and system access and has a high-level knowledge of the payroll system.
Assists with the annual agency 403B match calculation.
Reviews quarterly tax information from the payroll processing company tax filing service for accuracy.
Prepares information for W-2 processing, reconciles to payroll and disburses to employees.
Assists Director of Finance, and CFO with cost reporting, budgeting, and CFR requirements as needed.
Assists in annual year-end financial audits and annual worker’s compensation audit.
Participates in Finance Department meetings.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
Participates in conferences, workshops and in-service training as needed or recommended to enhance job skills and personal growth and development.
Adheres to agency’s policies and procedures as well as department guidelines.
Performs other duties at the discretion of Supervisors.
