The Senior Tax Analyst is primarily responsible for income tax compliance and related aspects of domestic and international tax research. The individual will also be involved with special projects in the areas of federal, state and international taxation. The focus is on the needs of the customer, empowering employees and optimizing existing activities in the process through efficiencies and the elimination of wasteful activities.Position Details: Prepare International Reporting Forms 5471 and 8858Prepare Federal State and Local Income and Franchise Tax Returns and estimatesAssist with quarterly and annual foreign and domestic tax provision under ASC 740Analyze foreign and domestic payableSupport transfer pricing analysisAssist with the fixed asset process by monitoring the tax depreciation in Oracle for domestic and foreign reportingAssist in the preparation of responses to ongoing Federal & State tax authority notices and examinationsAssist in the preparation of W-8 formsProvide general tax department support servicesOperational ExcellenceActively participates in the implementation of sustainable improvement processes, such as 5S, Kaizen, Daily Management Control, Standard Work and Problem Solving.Qualifications and Experience: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Tax or Accounting required.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Minimum of 2-3 years of income tax experience either in public accounting or at a multinational corporationKnowledge of US GAAP Financial Accounting/ASC 740 income tax accounting rulesProficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically ExcelStrong Organizational SkillsHands-on experience with Onesource (Thomson Reuters) tax software a plusExcellent technology skillsEmployee must have exemplary communication (both oral and written), skills. Must be a highly motivated self-starter, with outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and take ownership of a process.
