Roles and Responsibilities

EXP – 5+years
Location Bangalore
Hiring mode : FTH
Roles & Responsibilities:
. Working with professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle
. Translate requirements into components and services that are highly scalable and available.
. Collaborate/closely with Tech Leads, product owner and other cross-functional teams, share best practice as well as discuss and motivate design solutions.
. Troubleshoot issues in application/platform with help monitoring tools and support teams.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
. 5+ years of work experience as a software engineer
. Spring Boot (Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience)
. Experience working with teams delivering Microservices with Java/Spring Frameworks,Spring Boot
. Significant understanding of microservice patterns and concepts.
. Hands-on software development experience building RESTful API’s including JSON over https.
. Experienced in the day-to-day practicalities of Agile/Scrum software delivery methodologies
. Should have worked on Hibernate, Spring JPA and Test Driven Development (JUnit)
. AWS Cloud expertise (-eg- S3, NoSQL DB, EKS, ECS, API Gateway + Serverless technologies).
. DevOps and CI/CD environments including: Gitlab, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes.
. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) as well as understand and translate business requirements
Personal Competences:
. Adaptable to Wabtecs methods and tools – and working environment
. Experience from working agile is very beneficial
. Straightforward and open minded
. Flexible, yet structured
. Strong communication skills
. Strong team player as well as good ability to work individually
. You like a high working pace and are not afraid to work extra when needed

. Good to have experiences of working with offshore teams
