Empower India is looking for a Sr. Analyst who is capable of producing in-depth analysis that suggests strategic and operational changes. The ideal candidate will understand the business problem, collect and study relevant data and able to produce meaningful and actionable insights that helps to solve the business problem in hand.
Role & Responsibilities:
Conduct efficient and thorough analyses of strategic competitive issues for Empower Retirement current business lines and product offers
Stay current on industry, market, and competitor trends across all aspects of the landscape
Collects, analyzes and synthesizes market and competitive insights that provide actionable recommendations, leverages analytical models and frameworks to recommend actions
Delivers high quality insights and analysis on competition, market trends and emerging business opportunities and threats
Identifies value propositions which can differentiate our company in the marketplace
Serves as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor by developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders to identify key needs and methods of delivering the right intelligence at the right time to the right person
Educational Qualification:
Graduate / Post-graduate degree in Business Management/Statistics/Economics/Finance
Required Experience:
2-6 years of experience in market and/ or competitive intelligence, research and analysis required
Required skills and competencies:
Excellent business acumen, with the ability to extract key strategic insights from detailed analysis
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to break down problems into single and manageable components
A high level of comfort with ambiguity and experience in ‘connecting the dots’ across a number of themes
Intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills and ability to ‘own’ a number of tasks simultaneously while delivering against tight delivery timeframes.
Strong written and verbal communication skill and be able to present the results to the senior stakeholders
Overall understanding of US Retirement Industry
Self-motivation, excellent accountability and ownership skills
Excellent team player
