At Measurabl, the Staff Accountant is responsible for general accounting and accounts receivable related tasks, and will be cross trained with other core accounting functions to provide a dynamic accounting experience. We are a technology company and seek opportunities to leverage technology and innovation to solve for the core operational functions of the business, and welcome feedback or suggestions to expand this capacity. Experience with technology as well as the ability to rapidly learn new skill sets, maintain organization and demonstrate communication skills will allow you to be successful in this role.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

General Accounting:

Prepare and record monthly journal entries
Reconcile select balance sheet accounts
Utilize technical functionality to bulk upload information into various tools and assess data for accuracy

Billing/Accounts Receivable:

Review executed contract agreements and input into billing/contact management system
Review reconciliation reports between our application and our billing/contract management system
Bulk processing of updates to customer accounts to capture monthly usage
Process bill runs within our billing/contact management system and auto-send invoices
Compile support to validate invoices and send emails to customers
Securely handle all customer data and payment information
Collection of outstanding receivables
Communicate with finance leadership as needed regarding overdue account statuses
Respond to customer questions on invoices

Other Duties:

Provide support/backup during annual audit periods
Ad-hoc projects as requested as it relates to core duties

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to work and communicate effectively with others in a diverse, multiethnic and multicultural work environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency and ability to learn new systems and in Microsoft Excel

Education & Experience:

2+ years of experience working in a Finance department
Strong understanding of systems, technology and large amounts of data
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business strongly preferred, or equivalent experience
Experience in the technology industry a plus, but not required
A combination of professional or educational experience (whether formal or informal) that affords you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities above
