REVOLT is looking for a highly motivated Staff Accountant to learn and grow within our fast-paced and fun environment. The Staff Accountant will be a key member of the company’s finance team and will have a direct impact on the period-end close process. This role offers a tremendous opportunity to gain experience with a growing company and will have exposure across divisions and leaders.
The ideal person for this role has strong organizational skills, is extremely detail-oriented, and delivers consistently superior work product. He/she has clear verbal and written communication skills, is quick-thinking, adaptable to change, and values working together as one team.
What you’ll do
Perform day-to-day accounting operations including preparing journal entries, depreciation schedules, prepaid schedules, and bank reconciliations
Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP
Complete account reconciliations and account analysis
Manage reconciliation, depreciation, and fixed asset ledgers
Assist with special projects and research projects as assigned by management team
Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll
Review and manage P-Card process and transactions.
Prepare audit schedules, reports and other financial data for external auditors
Who you are:
Accounting or business degree with 2-4 years’ work experience
CPA license and public accounting experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP
QuickBooks experience is preferred
Entertainment and/or TV Production industry experience preferred
Proficient Microsoft Office experience
Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
Accurate and detail-oriented
Strong work ethic, strives for excellence and creating value.
