Job Description:
State and Local Tax Manager – Unclaimed Property
As a State and Local Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing services such as research on state unclaimed property matters, annual compliance outsourcing, audit defense, voluntary disclosures, risk assessments and policy and procedure enhancements. To be successful you will need to demonstrate strong leadership and mentor ship skills. As a specialist in your role, you will work directly with clients and lead the tax engagement team. This is a dynamic opportunity to be part of a growing team and take on new challenges.
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Economics, Masters in Taxation or LLM is a plus.
CPA, JD, AMP or CAPP required.
Minimum of six years of forward-thinking experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend.
Be a self-motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to grow strong client and team relationships.
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing both internally and externally.
Work effectively in a team environment
